About Terry Conrad

Terry Conrad is the founding Director of Project Clear Light, a not-for-profit prison out-reach organization for Buddhist teachings and practices. He was the first Buddhist Certified Volunteer Chaplains Assistant in the Texas prison system. He sponsors prison dharma study groups, holds retreats, and co-ordinates a correspondence course on the Lojong teaching of Tibetan Buddhism at no cost to incarcerates. Terry has written several booklets available to incarcerates at no cost. He’s been a student of the Buddha Dharma for over six decades. He’s studied with teachers in the Zen, Theravadan, and Tibetan traditions, done numerous teacher lead and individual retreats and pilgrimages. He lives and works in Galveston, TX.
